CLASSES AND SCHEDULES

Adult Karate

Adult Karate classes are offered to students 16 and older.  We teach traditional Okinawan Goju Ryu, meaning Hard-Soft style.

Adult Karate classes are offered on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings and run from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Youth Karate

The Youth karate class also features traditional Okinawan Goju Ryu, but is focused on young students from ages of 5 to 15.  Parents of youth students are welcome to join in with the class.  It is a great way for kids to develop confidence, perseverance, and respect.

Youth Karate classes are on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Judo

Traditional Kodokan Judo is taught to both youth and adults in a combined class.  Build confidence in throwing, falling, mat work, and competition with Judo.

Judo classes are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to Noon.  Youth are dismissed 30 minutes early to allow for exclusive adult training for the last half hour.

Aikido

Aikido classes are available to adults.  Translating as spirit-harmony way, Aikido teaches techniques designed for control and submission without injury.  

Aikido classes are on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.

Kobudo

Kobudo is the study of traditional martial arts weapons such as the bo, sai, tonfa/tunqua and nunchaku.  The style of Kobudo taught at Lincoln Martial Arts Center is Matayoshi Kobudo under Franco Sanguinetti Sensei of the MKKI organization.  This class is open primarily to adults.

Kobudo classes are on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
